Start with what is actually covered
A monthly price is only part of an IT plan. Before comparing offers, ask which devices and services the agreement covers. A workstation plan, a server agreement, and a project quote may solve different needs.
FIX256 workstation plans are priced per covered desktop or laptop. Server coverage requires a separate, higher quote. Other devices and bring-your-own-device arrangements are agreed separately.

Understand how human support works
Ask when people are available and how support time is counted. Automated monitoring is not the same as a continuously staffed helpdesk.
At FIX256, routine human support is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Eastern. Bronze includes monitoring and patching with no human support minutes. Silver, Gold, and Platinum include monthly technician allowances that pool within the client account. Additional work is separately quoted.
Platinum clients may request separately billed after-hours work, subject to availability. That availability is not guaranteed. Urgent incidents should follow the escalation instructions in your written agreement.
Separate ongoing care from projects
A device-management plan should not leave you guessing about a larger change. Ask how the provider handles office moves, new equipment, cloud migrations, backup, and onsite visits.
At FIX256, backup, SaaS, projects, hardware, onsite work, travel, and specialist recovery are separately scoped unless expressly included in the written agreement. Confirm deliverables, responsibilities, timing, and price before the work begins.
Leave with a written next step
Bring a list of workstations, the systems your team relies on, and the problems you want to solve. The goal of the first conversation is a clear next step, with an agreed scope rather than assumptions.
For current plan pricing and support allowances, use the workstation-plan comparison. Your written service agreement determines your coverage.
