Write down what you want to understand
Start with the questions that matter to your team. Which recurring issues interrupt work? Which systems are difficult to support? Are you planning a change in equipment, software, or location?
You do not need to diagnose everything before the conversation. A short list of priorities gives the discussion a useful starting point.
Gather a simple picture of your environment
Prepare a basic overview of your organization and the systems you want to discuss. Keep it high level for the initial conversation; access and detailed information should follow the agreed scope.
- Approximate number of users and workstations
- Main email, collaboration, and business applications
- Office locations and any remote-working needs
- Known IT concerns and planned changes
- Who can approve scope, access, and scheduling
Agree on access before sharing it
Confirm which systems are in scope, what access is needed, who authorizes it, and how information will be handled. Do not put passwords, access codes, payment details, or sensitive incident information into a general website inquiry or email.
Access arrangements, deliverables, and timing should be agreed before assessment work starts.
Know the boundaries of the offer
The FIX256 assessment is fully remote and intended for an organization with up to 25 users. It does not include penetration testing, compliance certification, remediation, or onsite work.
Start with a free intro call and review the assessment page for current pricing, eligibility, and offer details. Any work beyond the assessment needs its own agreed scope.
