FIX256 / BUSINESS INFORMATION
Privacy policy
Effective September 30, 2026
How FIX256 handles website inquiries, personal information, and business records.
Who we are and scope
FIX256 provides managed IT services to businesses in Goshen, Orange County, and the surrounding Hudson Valley. This policy covers this website, inquiry forms, and business records associated with those interactions. Contact admin@fix256.com or FIX256, PO Box 216, Goshen, NY 10924.
When we process information in client systems to deliver services, the applicable service agreement, confidentiality terms, and any signed data processing agreement also govern that work. This policy does not authorize access to client systems. The separately hosted staff operations app may provide additional notices; review them before using that portal.
Information we collect
Inquiries collect your name, company, work email, service interest, description of your needs, and acknowledgement of our inquiry information handling. When supplied in the website link, campaign source, medium, and campaign name may be recorded with your inquiry. If you email us or become a client, we may receive additional contact details, correspondence, support records, invoices, and payment status. Do not submit passwords, card numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, or other sensitive information through the public form.
Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, request times, and error or security logs to deliver and protect the site. The separately hosted client and staff portal manages its own sign-in and authorized account information.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, evaluate service needs, maintain business relationships, administer services and billing, investigate errors or abuse, protect systems, and satisfy legal obligations. Inquiry details are saved in FIX256’s business CRM for authorized staff to review.
Submitting an inquiry allows us to respond about that inquiry. It does not enroll you in a newsletter or authorize automated marketing calls or texts. If you separately request promotional emails, you may unsubscribe as directed in the email or contact admin@fix256.com. Necessary service and billing communications may continue.
Providers and disclosures
This website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting and secure transmission. Website inquiry details are transferred to FIX256’s Base44 operational CRM for authorized staff to review and respond. Base44 also hosts the separate staff operations app. We use providers for authentication and business communications. App information is handled under applicable notices and agreements.
QuickBooks Online is our accounting system of record. Base44 may maintain operational billing information and synchronized invoice information; a website inquiry does not authorize a charge. When online payments are enabled, Stripe processes checkout. FIX256 may supply the billing email, invoice number, amount, and related invoice metadata. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout. We retain invoice and payment status records. Stripe’s privacy notice explains its processing: https://stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell personal information or disclose website inquiry information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Cookies and tracking
The FIX256 website uses first-party event counts for page views and selected button clicks, and session-only browser storage for campaign attribution. It does not use advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or visitor IDs. Request IP addresses may be processed for abuse throttling, but are not saved with analytics or CRM records. Hosting, authentication, and payment providers may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for their functions and security. See our cookie notice.
Retention and security
We retain information as reasonably needed for its purpose, our business relationship, dispute handling, and legal, tax, or recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the record and applicable requirements. Records no longer needed are reviewed for deletion or de-identification; copies may remain temporarily in backups.
Access to business records is restricted to authorized users. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We will provide security incident notices when required by applicable law.
Your choices and requests
Email admin@fix256.com with “Privacy request” to ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided, or opt out of promotional communications. We may verify identity and authority before acting. Do not send identity documents unless we arrange a suitable method. We respond under applicable law and may retain records needed for legal obligations or legitimate business purposes. Nothing in this policy limits your applicable statutory rights.
You can browse without submitting an inquiry. Browser settings can control cookies, though blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in or checkout. Because this site does not sell or share information for targeted advertising, it has no such activity for an opt-out preference signal to disable.
Children, processing locations, and revisions
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child provided information.
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate. Arrange any required data residency or regulatory terms in writing before providing restricted data. We post revisions with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when required.
